 Bonuses can be found in clothes and equipment, horses and playable characters have them too depending what level they are. 

 

Stats for the rider

Riding - increases speed and improves horse's ability to change direction

Jumping - increases height and distance of horse's jump

Command - improves how fast a horse changes its gait

Caring - extends the time during which a horse doesn't need care and decreases amount of injury horse gets in an accident

Stats for the horse

Strength - increases height and distance of horse's jump

  Discipline - improves how fast a horse changes its gait

Speed - increases the speed of a horse

Agility - improves how fast a horse changes direction
Endurance - decreases amount of injury horse gets in an accident
