Halloween guide 2023: pets

 Hi! 

There's less than a week left until the end of the Halloween festival, so I decided to post this guide to make sure you can get all the free pets you can get!

Necromeowncer Kitty

 

 

 

You can get the witch hat kitty by throwing ingredients into the cauldron, which is located right in the middle of the Galloper's Keep. It does not matter what the ingredients are, because the prizes are given randomly.

Sorcerous Squash

 

 

 

The squash is available in the pumpkin hunt. It should appear in your inventory after completing the quest and confirming it with the pumpkin in the Galloper's Keep.

 Nightwing

 

 

 

Getting the Nightwing raven is more complicated because it requires performing a certain ritual. And what is important in the ritual? Of course, the altar on which it will be performed and the necessary ingredients. 

 

  The altar can be found only if you're currently on the Haunted Trail. You can enter it through the portal in the Galloper's Keep. The exact location of the altar is a hill above the Hussar's Drop.

First things first though, it's worth to come prepared. The ingredients needed to get the Nightwing raven are:

★ 80 unbroken bones

★ 20 raven feathers

★ Witch Eye Garnet

★ 20 soul shards

 

Unbroken bones and raven feathers can be found on the Haunted Trail Ride, just floating above the ground in random places. Moreover, Poe the crow, who is located almost at the very end of the trail, lets us exchange the other items found on the trail for the needed bones.

 

 

Soul Shards can also be found on the Haunted Trail, as well as in the Galloper's Keep and during the other Halloween activities, so keep your eyes open as they can appear randomly anywhere! Another good way to get the shards is hunting for tornados that appear on Jorvik each hour and last 20 minutes. By completing the task given at the place of the tornado, you can get 3 sould shards. The shards can be doubled by activities such as the Galloper's Gambit and the Witch's Gambit. You can start the challenges by talking to the right ghosts in the Galloper's Keep. When accepting the challenge, you have to give away 3 shards, and when you are outside the Keep, at a random moment, depending on the selected task, you will be chased by either the Galloper Thompson or attacked by the Vala witch. If you manage to survive, you will receive 6 motes back. Beware though! If you don't escape you will lose your 3 Soul Shards.

Witch Eye Garnet is the easiest one to get. You just have to find the right place and take the stone. Visit the Fort Pinta beach to get it:

 

You're ready now! You have all the needed ingredients, so you can head right to the altar and resurrect your new friend.

Gloomwing

 

 

 

Resurrecting a Gloomwing is exactly the same, but the ritual requires slightly different ingredients:

★ 80 unbroken bones

★ 4 bottled Will-o'-the-wisps

★ Sky Soul Bauble

★ 20 soul shards

 

I've already mentioned how you can get the unbroken bones and raven feathers above. This is also the case for Will-o'-the-wisps, they can be found on the Haunted Trail. I also told you about the soul shards, so there's only one thing left: Sky Soul Bauble. It is located in the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur, specifically inside the huge skeleton.
