American Paint Horses

calendar_month 08 September 2021

Hello StarFam!

In today's update we welcomed brand new American Paint Horses. It's said that each horse of this breed is unique. Their patches are so various that the same two coats do not exist. Maybe it's not the case for Jorvik, but still after the servers have been opened after the update, there are loads of happy riders wandering around on their new, lovely horses everywhere!

Let's start with the basics:
Each horse costs 850 Star Coins.
We can find them by the Riding Arena, but it's temporary and the horses will move somewhere else eventually. Additionaly there's one American Paint staying at Fort Pinta, also temporary.
We need to be atleast 7 character level to get the horses, except the one at Fort Pinta.
★  The coat colors available for now are Dark Bay Tobiano, Chestnut Overo, Black Tobiano, Buckskin Tobiano, Grullo Tobiano, and Dapple Grey Sabino Overo. At the first glance this list looked like a really weird spell (as I'm a person who doesn't know much about horses), so after a proper research I'm coming to the rescue (for myself mostly):

The special move for this breed is a spin. All we need to do is press a spacebar while our horse is standing still.
The choices we can make is not all about the coat colors. There's also a big range of mane styles for the American Paint Horses.

There are many ways to style the mane, but for the mane there are just two:

I decided to get both the Dark Bay and Grullo Tobiano. It was not an easy decision as I've never been a fan of Paint horses. However a moment of a riding hack and a photoshoot was all it took for me to warm up to them, especially to the Dark Bay one. I'm also pleased to see a spin as the breed's special move as it's one of my favorites (is there even a real person who has never just stood in a random place and spinned like crazy?). Additionaly the big (and also pretty!) range of mane and tail styles is the perfect finish to the new generation of this breed. I'm so happy with the braids!

What do you think of the new American Paint Horses? Which ones have you decided to get? Let me know, spill the tea!

Hugs! ♥
